Villa Park Mariners Swim Team

Be a part of the coolest team in town, the Villa Park Mariners Swim Team.

The Mariners swim competitively in the DuPage Swim and Dive Conference, a group of 14 west suburban swim teams including Bensenville, Addison and Lombard. The season includes 10 meets (5 on Wednesday evenings and 5 on Saturday mornings) and a season ending conference meet. Practices take place each morning at Jefferson Pool and swimmers are expected to attend each practice. It is recommended that beginning swimmers have previous swim lesson experience prior to the start of the season. All swimmers must successfully swim one length of the pool using a legal stroke in order to participate. Swimmers are responsible for their own transportation to and from practices and meets. Parents and or family members are expected to become involved with the Parents Association.

Mini Mariners

Get your feet wet with this beginning swim team. The Mini Mariners is a team for those swimmers who don’t have previous team experience. These swimmers will practice three times per week and compete in the five home meets. Swimmers are eligible to swim for the Mini Mariners for one season. The Mini Mariners is not a pre-requisite for the Mariners Swim Team.

Performance Training

Be the best swimmer you can be! Improve strokes and times while practicing in a small group setting. Only swimmers from the Mariners or Mini Mariners are eligible to participate.
