Skatepark Committee Villa Park

Mission Statement

A grassroots initiative, providing a unified voice for skaters and the public, and a partnership with the Villa Park Department of Park and Recreation, with the common goal to improve current skate park conditions and facilitate the construction of a new facility.

We are working on the first Villa Park Skateboarding tournament at this year's Oktoberfest. We need your help to make it a succesful event. Save the date for the pool party, August 25th at 8pm-9:30pm.

The Villa Park Skatepark Committee T-Shirts can be purchased for $10.00 at the Iowa Community Center. All profits will go towards the construction of the skatepark.

2-4-8 Skateboard Park

Rules and regulations are posted at the entrance to the park and are also posted on the fencing within the skateboard area. All participants must read and adhere to all rules. The Village of Villa Park reserves the right to revoke any 2-4-8 Skate Park Pass as a result of infractions of any rules. The Village also reserves the right to close this facility if posted rules are not followed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The facility will be open from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.

2. Know your abilities and skate at your own risk.

3. You must provide and wear protective equipment at all times.

4. Profanity, reckless and boisterous behavior are prohibited.

5. No destroying or defacing public property.

6. Village staff and/or police staff reserve the right to restrict entry or ask persons to leave if rules are not followed.
